After the bronze has been poured and broken out from the ceramic shell, it is brought to the metal chasing department for a final refining of the artist's desired three dimensional artwork. It is in this department that any last minute changes, (within reason), are still able to take place.

After the bronze pieces are chased according the specifications
of the artist, (as seen to the right in this photo of Jed Novatt
working along with a welder on one of his pieces),
