This photo shows the bottom of the
ceramic shell mold after it has
been de-waxed. The molten bronze will be poured
directly into the negative sprue, (as seen below
in the casting process).

1.The crucible full of molten bronze and supported by cable attatched to load bearing beams is being directed to the readied ceramic shell molds.
2.Concise and deliberate pouring begins with every effort taken to ensure proper aim and lack of waste from spillage. It takes two workers to handle the crucible accurately.

3.This image is of newly filled with "still red hot bronze" ceramic shell molds. It will take up to 4 hours for the bronze to cool and be handleable.

4. Photo of broken out bronze sculptures which is the process of removing the newly poured piece from the ceramic shell by means of certain appropriate tools. From here, the sculptures will be sand blasted to remove the clinging ceramic and have the sprues cut off. They are then sent to 'metal chasing'.
